CSVICSConverter is built to work without an account. We collect as little as possible.

Files and inputs you use in the tool

Your schedule files (CSV, TSV, Excel and .ics) and pasted rows are read and converted in your browser. They are not uploaded when you preview the calendar or download the free .ics, CSV, template or mapping file. When you export a Pro pack, your browser sends only the cleaned event list (titles, dates and times, time zone, location, notes and the person or group column) to this site’s own server, which builds the ZIP in memory and returns it immediately. We do not store your files, your rows or the generated packs, and we do not write them to disk or to any database.

To bring your work back after checkout, the workbench keeps a copy of the current sheet in this browser tab’s session storage until you return; it is deleted when it is restored or when you close the tab.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details and email address. We receive a payment confirmation and an anonymous customer reference. We never see your card number.

What we store

To remember what you paid for, we store an anonymous access record (plan, status, expiry or remaining uses) and a one-way keyed hash of the email address you paid with, so you can sign in on another device. We cannot turn that hash back into your email address. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. A single strictly necessary cookie keeps you signed in on this browser.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It counts page views and a few anonymous events such as starting the tool.
